During the Russia-Ukraine war, eyes are also on China's stand, because it has always been seen in Russia's court. China also does not want the expansion of NATO like Russia. However, China took a safe stance on the Russo-Ukraine war.

Russia opposes America

On the one hand, many countries have condemned the steps taken by Russia against Ukraine, while on the other hand, China neither said anything against Russia's steps nor said anything in favor of Russia. But after America imposed sanctions on Russia, China has openly stood with Russia. China opposed this move of America and called it a step to add fuel to the fire. China said sanctions never solve problems. China continues to oppose illegal and unilateral sanctions. China has warned the US not to harm the interests of China and other countries while dealing with issues related to Ukraine and Russia.

Earlier in the meeting of the UN Security Council, China appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and promote every effort to find a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine dispute. China did not criticize Russia in its statement.

Are China and Russia together
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited China on February 3 for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics. After this both the countries issued a joint statement. In the same statement, China had also objected to the expansion of NATO. However, China can work together with Russia to undermine the global model of Western democracy. For this, Russia's move of war with Ukraine will prove to be helpful.

China has always been telling Taiwan its share. After Russia's attack on Ukraine, it is now believed that China can also follow Putin's path in Taiwan. China is closely watching the West's stand on the Russo-Ukraine war. China says that European countries and the US have different priorities in terms of geopolitical concerns. China's goal is to force Taiwan to bow to their political demands and accept Chinese occupation.

China takes diplomatic toughness
China has already indicated that it will not support the Russian occupation of Ukraine. At the Munich Security Conference, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on all sides to avoid war. Wang also said- China believes that the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected and protected. Ukraine is no exception. Recently, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi appealed to the international community not to let anyone's efforts for a new Cold War succeed.
